Version 2.0 combines rolling clips and continuous recordings with a fully accessible Manager. It can manage multiple servers and channels, browse and organize every saved item, play or bookmark audio on the server, use configurable shortcuts, control per-user volume, and safely push or pull individual recordings or complete libraries. Playback supports names, slots, paging, looping, random play, persistent shuffle, play-all, and play-from-here. Auto-buffering, detailed status, mandatory chimes, participant exclusions, and channel notices keep recording behavior visible.
Server setup now accepts the normal TeamTalk channel path, such as / or /lq, instead of requiring a numeric channel ID. The Manager also gives a clear warning if ClippieCom is opened from a cloud-synchronized folder.
Updates now use a visible progress window and a protected installer that backs up and verifies licenses, server settings, and saved audio before replacing application files. Existing 1.1.1 installations can install 2.0 through their normal update prompt.
Before first use
- Extract the ZIP to a normal local folder. Do not run ClippieCom from OneDrive, Dropbox, iCloud Drive, a network share, or directly inside the ZIP.
- Run
_Open ClippieCom.cmdorClippieCom Manager.exe. The manager uses standard accessible Windows controls and does not require a command window. - The Setup and license tab displays the
CLP2device request code in a labelled read-only field. Copy it and send it to Lillaire. - Paste the returned device license into the labelled License key field and choose Activate license. Once active, the key field and activation action become unavailable while the request code remains available for support.
- Use Setup and license to add TeamTalk servers, channels, bot accounts, authorized controller usernames, exclusions, and recording preferences. Each server can optionally start automatically when the manager opens; already-running instances are detected so they are not connected twice or reset.
- Use the Servers tab to select, edit, remove, start, stop, or restart configured instances. If required, starting one downloads the official Windows x64 TeamTalk Standard SDK trial.
- Optionally choose your own OneDrive, Dropbox, iCloud Drive, or custom synchronized recording library in Setup and license.
- Use the Logs tab to choose an instance and read its selectable, scrollable, read-only live log. Active logs are shared safely with the bot; a temporary Windows file lock is retried automatically.

Files, SDK, and licensing
Each configured instance gets separate configuration, saved audio, logs, and start/stop launchers. Password-bearing configuration files must not be shared. The cloud folder is only a shared recording library; every computer must run its own local ClippieCom copy.
The manager checks this page's HTTPS version manifest when it opens and also provides Check for updates on the Servers tab. It verifies the downloaded ZIP's SHA-256 before installation and preserves licenses, server settings, recordings, and logs. Because Windows cannot replace a running bot executable, installing an update briefly restarts running Clippie instances and interrupts any active buffer or recording; the manager warns before doing so.
The customer ZIP contains no license key, server configuration, recordings, source code, owner tools, or TeamTalk SDK binaries. TeamTalk and its SDK remain subject to BearWare's terms. The SDK download is a trial and continued operation after its trial period is not guaranteed.
